This book is one that I will call remarkable. Though it became a best seller in 1979, it could have been released yesterday. The protaganist, Nicholai Hel, is one of the best drawn characters I have seen in a long while. This is not a spy story as we have come to know them. It is a vivid picture of international intrigue, terrorism and survival. I highly recommend it.
