Good morning. Big site update.
http://farscape.wdsection.com
A slew of new information has been added to the site this morning. Under network information you will now find much more in depth additional information for EM.TV, KIRCHMEDIA, and VIVENDI UNIVERSAL ENTERTAINMENT. The more we investigate this the more those three names keep popping up. You will find some information on their current financial situations as well as contact numbers.
As was mentioned earlier, according to Anthony Simcoe it was EM.TV, the company that owns The Jim Henson Company, who pulled the plug on Farscape. EM.TV is a German company and in the Network Information area you will find links to some German fans willing to help translate. Any other German fans that want to assist, please head to our forums and let people know you're there.
HOWEVER, do not take your focus from the Sci-Fi Channel. If they do truly still want and need Farscape then it is imperative that we let them know we support them in that. David Kemper said specifically to call and write to Sci-Fi Channel in New York and if he believes that is the show's best bet than it is. DO NOT LET UP ON SCI-FI.
We also want to take just a brief moment and give a big ol' hearty thanks to David Kemper, Ben Browder, Richard Manning and Anthony Simcoe. They have been so good to give us this information. They gave us a jump on this news, scooping every media outlet and sending this intel straight to the fans. It is only because of them and the information they are providing that we are able to act so quickly. Thank you all so very, very much.
We also want to thank everybody who is sending in information to us. We are getting it all up as quickly as we can and your assistance has been invaluable. Thank you all, you are making this resource possible. Please continue to send us inforamtion and take part in the discussions in our save 'scape forum.
In other news -
Barbarella, the operator for the Sci-Fi #Farscape Chat Room, would like everybody to spend as much time in the chat room over the next week. We should try to keep the rooms occupied as much as possible. The chat rooms are moderated and users are logged. Another way to let SciFi know what we want.
