I had a John Doe Thread here with pics before the cyber Hurrican came through.

it has lots of potential, but i have a really big problem with it's structure right from the pilot. why isn't he obsessed with how the frell he knows and learns everything? like when he was test driving that street racing quality convertible. he didn't know how to drive a high performance stick shift, so he just stops and thinks about it for a sec and then it comes to him? well groovy, but where the hell did it come from?

and the thing with the crime fighting of the week is gonna get stale really fast. like the forced conflict between him and the female cop.

that kind of "victim of the week" thing worked for Pretender because Jarod intentionally sought those people out and it somehow always tied in to The Centre.

if the show finds it's true identity, it could be very cool.

I like this show. Needs work, but it's good enough to not bore me between Firefly and Robbery Homicide. Hack is pretty good too, but I watch John Doe.:)

I've been watching this show, and I thought it started out looking rather unique. However, in the last two weeks it's taken a turn and if it's going where I think it's going, it will just be another ho-hum show. It is beginning to look like a "Pretender" wanna be, and I'm not interested in that. Been there, Seen that!

I was wondering if anybody else liked this show. The first ep was very good, but now, I'm waiting to see where they take it. It has a lot of potential. Wondering who did this to him and why and what that symbol means, etc keeps me coming back each week.

Last weeks ep was pretty good! I can't believe they killed the mysterious old bat. I knew he couldn't really have found his family cause that would basically end the show. So, who is the deaf guy? Personally, I like the show...I'm hooked now 'cause I gotta find out what's going to happen next. There is just enough mystery to keep me interested.

Yes! You are right...there's just enough mystery here to keep me coming back each week. I, too, was really caught off guard with the slaying of the nasty old hag. She was sooooo creepy!
