I just finished my mini marathon of S2, starting with Hard Landing and the Jurgen arc, New Regime, skipping to Soul Sacrifice and ending with Not Was. Love comparing how Michael and Jurgen were so much alike underneath, but that Michael had the will and strength to live, and Jurgen, when his shield was stripped away, didn't. And Michael knew that. That's my new interpretation. Didn't see this before, but then again I am slow sometimes. Also loved the Ops/Maddy situation in Not Was vs the M/N situation. Was Michael really that out of it before Nikita administered the antidote Walter made? Did he need a way to tell Nikita he loved her without causing them problems, or her to jump his bones and make life really difficult? And of course, there's the echo of the end of War, which is echoed again in View of the Garden in the S4 opening arc.
Was Ops really deceived by Maddy's ploy? Were Maddy's actions that of a woman in lust, or were her actions part of she and Ops plan to bring George down? Do her actions lend credence to Adrian's comments in End Game about her? I say no to her actions being part of their plan based on Ops reaction to it, and the fact that she fabricated Russel's importance. And yes, that Maddy was being Maddy in relation to Russell.
Ah, the beauty of LFN!!

Brought this over from the First Shot. I haven't done this in awhile.

those are diffucult questions, we have all so many different points of view.... I do think Michael was out of mind.
<and I love the way he looks, sorry I can't help that...>

btw, season 2 is just great. It's perfect. All the characters work perfectly. It was a wonderful work, a masterpiece.

I think Michael was out of mind too, but you never know. I just wanted to see how others thought about the scene. He looked very odd after she left.
BTW, that scene is one of the best ever, right up there with the end of War, the "eyes" scene in TPR, all of UTRH, the containment scene in FLYF, the window crash in Friend, I could go on, but enough for now. Oh, the love slinky.:D

Minai, I agree. S2, and S3 were the best S1 was so raw, so emotionally challenging, it's hard to watch. I've said it before, I hate the swerve in S4 after the strong opening arc.
