View Full Version : 3/3/04 episode
So...Fred's really gone?? You know what's funny, I really didn't like her at first. Now that she's gone, I'm glad the show's ending. Sort of. It just seems weird now. I don't know.
The whole thing with Illyria & Wes was just odd. I'm assuming AA is still going to be on the show the rest of the season, but as Illyria? An all powerful "old one" who's feeling overwhelmed & out of place is just going to hang out with the gang now? Anyone got any good spoilers cause I'm pretty disappointed right about now. :(

It was an intesting episode. They seem to be getting better since they announced the end of the show.

what an excellent way to turn what would have been a "been there, done that" storyline on its ear. how Farscape of them.
i loved that she makes it to her temple and everyone is toast...and then she comes back to W&H because she had no place else to go...and then she asks Wes for help.
balance that against what Angel and Spike were talking about and it could give the team a new almost ally. interesting.

Nice take on it Sis. You almost pitty the "old one". She is lost just like Fred was when they found her in Palea.
But no more Fred. :( Very Sad.
Maybe more of Fred's memories will come to the surface.
Angel & Spike agreeing to work together because that is what Fred would have wanted.
And I really like all of the blue on her face, hair and her eyes. ;)

Saw the very end of it. Liking the makeup, also.
Cool for Angel and Spike to work together because of her. But all of SPike talking about the big fight reminded me of last season's Buffy and Angel.

I'm with all of you. It feels weird to have this Ancient One just hanging with the gang. I really did like Fred, she was the last female lead character and I will miss her. Guess I'm kind of glad that they're ending it that way too. Don't think I could take another whole season of Fred like that, although she does play it well. I just wonder if she'll be back if they make movies. I mean they could certainly bring her back and use her, it's not like the rest of the gang is all normal. You've got 2 vampires with souls, a Pylean, Gunn who's been enhanced, Harmony who's also a vampire, and then there's Wesley, (Rogue demon hunter) who's not technically any kind of demon, but he has his own demons that he deals with every day. There was Cordelia, the human who turned half demon to keep the visions, who became a higher being then went all evil and stuff. They're just not a normal bunch of people. You could add Willow, witch, and Buffy, slayer (one of many now). All in all it's a group you're not likely to see on TV again, ever. That's what makes Joss's universe so special. It will be interesting to see how he ends it.
Well, I'm off to work. Later, Kim/NN
