I rewatched this eps, which is one of my fvs, last week and I could put things together. In VLFN, I guess WG wrote that Obrien could see a younger Michael in Jasime. I couldn't see that at first but it is true. Although we don't have much time to go deeper, I also noticed that Claire resembled Nikita. Both just would like to go home. Trent has some of Birkoff in season 1, by his sense of humor and of course his intelligence. Darwin could be a younger Walter and Neil, who was the harder to connect to someone in section, might be somehow similar to Madeline in early seasons. He listens to everbody and smiles.
I would like to know what you guys think about that?
Thank you

the farm team wasn't conceived to be a "replacement" for anyone but rather to show the network that the show could branch out and appeal to different demographics.
in VLFN, i haven't written them to be replacements either...the struggle is actually to carve out their own sense of self as the next generation of cold ops in the field.

i hate it when i hit submit when i didn't want to....
so anyway...
i don't see any of the Four as being like any of the original 6 but rather each having aspects of the others...trying to create a history for them, a path for their evolution i guess, they will be able to identify at different times with the more senior ops as they encounter similar situations or emotions

Sorry, I didn't mean replacement. Just similiarties...
I see what you mean. They ought to follow their own path. I agree.

Me too:rollin:
I also like when Darwin asks when they would get some action, and Michael just jabs him in the throat. that's too funny.

your comment about Obrien and Jasmine was nagging at me, so i looked up the ep. i thought you might have taken it out of context because i don't remember implying that. here's the scene from 603....
Jasmine
"They've got no business in Section if they can't perform."
Obrien turns his head sharply, wanting to see the look on her face. He studies her for several moments before speaking. Obrien recognizes the pattern, the look on her face, the look in her eyes. He sees a younger, female version of Michael...the Michael that existed before Nikita found a way in to his heart. The Michael that shut down his emotions for fear of his own destruction. Obrien pitches his voice to match hers.
Obrien
"You are a team leader. Would you like them all placed in abeyance?"
Obrien's feelings were restricted to her behavior in the story arc, not how the character of Jasmine has been evolving.

claurebello, I contacted Crazy from Houston, Texas. She's one of us, the LFFF and so she told me she could send the eps. I wanted.. So I asked for all season 4 and "Time to be Heroes" was missing.. I was so sad.. now at least I'm reading the transcripts.. and I say to myself: "I wish I had seen it..." :(

I like TTBH, but my daugher LOVES it!
I think it may have been a reach for a different demographic, but in the context of the LFN universe, it would be fascinating to have seen the newbies grow. I think that it's the ep where mentally Nikita finally says enough. We have to leave or they're gonna kill us. In the gas scene, Michael was resigned and Nikita was pissed.
I like the pocket rocket made by Smith and Wesson crack by Darwin.
